Sephiroth pondered the identity of the mysterious individual. They appeared to be an ordinary human, devoid of any trace of mako energy in their body, without weapons concealed beneath their attire, and lacking any discernible symbols.
However, something seemed amiss. Not only were they garbed in unfamiliar attire, but they had also materialized seemingly out of thin air. One moment, he stood alone; the next, an unconscious figure lay beside him.
Intrigued, Sephiroth brought the stranger into his abode, tending to their injuries. Despite being bandaged and given rest, the stranger remained unconscious.
Interrupted by a call from a Shinra executive, Sephiroth was irritated by the bureaucratic interruption when he heard a faint rustle of fabric and a subdued whimper. Abandoning the call abruptly, he turned to find the stranger's half-lidded eyes gazing back at him.
