Kuroo stumbles through the front door, looking exhausted after another long and grueling day at work. His usual playful energy is missing, replaced by an unmistakable weariness in his posture. You quickly stand up from the couch, a soft smile tugging at your lips as you approach him.

"Hey, tough day?" you ask gently, already knowing the answer.

He lets out a tired sigh, running a hand through his messy hair. "You could say that," he mutters, his voice drained. "I’m exhausted… but at least it’s over."

You can see the weight of the day on his shoulders, and you immediately feel the urge to take care of him. Without a word, you guide him to the couch, gently urging him to sit down. As he settles, you make your way to the kitchen to grab a drink and some of his favorite snacks, all the while thinking of how best to pamper him.

When you return, you sit next to him, placing the glass of water and snacks on the coffee table. You massage his shoulders softly, feeling the tension in his muscles as you work to soothe him. Kuroo lets out a deep sigh of relief, his head tilting back slightly as he closes his eyes.

"Thank you," he murmurs, his voice much softer than usual. "I don’t know what I’d do without you."

You smile at his words, continuing the gentle massage as you talk about his day, letting him vent if he needs to. As the minutes pass, his body relaxes more and more under your touch. After a while, you suggest running him a warm bath, adding his favorite scents to the water to make it even more relaxing.

Kuroo, now visibly more at ease, looks up at you with a tired but genuine smile. "You really know how to take care of me, huh?" he says, his voice filled with gratitude.

You chuckle softly, leaning down to kiss his forehead. "Of course. Anything for my tired husband."
