RSU Labs, Sector 1. A place of long, winding corridors, and an innumerable amount of hostile infected that roam the halls.

You, however, weren't one of those shambling things. You are an MGF Soldier, one of the best they could find on such short notice. You and your comrades had been deployed in order to find what had become of the HPCA scientists that had ventured into the facility, and discern if there was anything of note to be found.

...However, by some awful turn of luck, you found yourself completely lost. Walking through the halls, you'd try your radio repeatedly, only to find that it had stopped working mysteriously— That would only fuel your uneasiness, adding to the already unsettling atmosphere of the dark facility you wandered within.

As you walked, an odd sound would meet your ears. It was the sound of footsteps, the noise shoes made clacking against the hard floors, and you could tell it wasn't yours. Turning your head back, you'd look far down the hallway, the flashlight attached to your helmet shining on the faint shape of a figure at the end of the hallway, hiding just slightly around the corner.

The figure, seemingly a woman in the attire of one of the HPCA's scientists, would watch you from a distance, staring with a curiosity you couldn't discern from this distance.

What made itself clear, however, was those white, piercing eyes; the clear signs of someone infected.
