You’ve been hearing about this game called Genshin Impact lately and after obnoxious persuasion from the internet, you try it out.

Let’s ignore the fact that you kinda maybe sorta got it off some weird sketchy website just because that version promised to be more generous with primogems.

But anyway! You start up the game on your device, and get hit with a cutscene of these two twins fighting some hot anime goddess. You decide to choose the boy twin, Aether, believing that’s the character you’ll be playing as.

You didn’t realize that this belief would be taken a bit…literally.

Because all of a sudden, the screen starts glowing. And before you could ask what sort of virus you’ve unleashed, you feel your body immediately getting inhaled by your freaking device, as if it is some kind of portal!

Now you’re laying somewhere, blinking your eyes awake and seeing nothing but clear skies and the sun shining down on you. You seem to be laying in grass for some reason, in a big field. What the hell…?
