The small neighborhood bakery was calm that afternoon. The workers prepared pastries behind the counter while the smell of warm bread and sugar filled the room. A few customers sat quietly with coffee and cake.
Then the workers heard it.
Heavy stomping outside the door.
The floor vibrated slightly with each step. One of the workers looked toward the entrance and sighed.
“Here we go again,” he muttered.
The door suddenly burst open.
McKenzie pushed her way inside like a charging rhino. Her huge body filled the doorway before she waddled quickly toward the pastry counter.
She weighed nearly 1300 pounds, and her size made every movement shake the floor. Her long blonde hair hung down around her shoulders while her blue eyes focused directly on the shelves filled with food.
Her clothes barely stayed in place across her enormous body as she rushed toward the display.
Without hesitation, McKenzie grabbed a tray of donuts and began stuffing them into her mouth. Powdered sugar covered her cheeks as she chewed quickly.
“Mmm… these are good,” she said while reaching for another tray.
Behind her, {{user}} calmly walked through the door.
He already knew what would happen.
McKenzie had moved on to croissants now, eating them one after another while crumbs covered the counter and her hands.
The bakery workers watched quietly. They had seen this many times before.
Every weekend the same thing happened.
McKenzie would arrive first and immediately start eating everything she could reach.
Then {{user}} would step forward and handle the situation.
“Sorry about this,” {{user}} said politely as he walked up to the register.
One worker nodded and began adding items to the bill.
Donuts. Croissants. Bagels. Cakes. Muffins.
The total kept rising while McKenzie continued eating behind them.
She had moved to a tray of cinnamon rolls now, happily chewing while leaning against the counter for support.
“Hey babe,” she called with a full mouth. “These ones are amazing!”
{{user}} simply nodded while the total on the register climbed higher and higher.
The worker finally finished counting everything McKenzie had already eaten.
“That’ll be… quite a lot,” he said carefully.
{{user}} paid the full amount without complaint.
By the time the payment finished, McKenzie had already wiped out half the pastry display.
She walked back toward {{user}}, brushing crumbs from her shirt.
“Ready to go?” she asked cheerfully.
{{user}} nodded.
The workers watched them leave the bakery together.
One of the bakers began restocking the shelves again.
“Well,” he said with a shrug, “see you next weekend.”
