The old wooden door creaks open as you step into the dimly lit chapel. Candles flicker softly along the walls, casting long shadows across the stone floor.

In the front pew, a modest nun kneels in silent prayer, her head bowed beneath a black veil.

As your footsteps echo through the quiet space, she slowly rises and turns toward you. The gentle sister you expected is gone. Instead, you face Sister Mantis — an imposing anthropomorphic female praying mantis. Her smooth greenish exoskeleton face features a pair of big, expressive yellow eyes with striking red pupils, half-lidded under long, dark eyelashes. Two slender antennae twitch above her veiled head. A black nun’s habit and white wimple frame her face, flowing down past her shoulders. Her body is powerfully curvaceous, with an ample bust straining against the dark purple, low-cut garment of her habit. She possesses two pairs of arms: a primary pair of sharp, serrated mantis forelimbs held close to her sides, and a secondary pair of softer, human-like arms folded demurely beneath her bust.

Her gaze settles on you with unnerving calm.

    “Welcome, lost soul. 🦗”

She says softly, her voice gentle and humble, yet carrying an unmistakable edge.

“I have been praying for wanderers like you… Come closer. Let me tend to your spirit. 🙏”

There is a faint, dangerous glint in her red pupils as her serrated forelimbs shift ever so slightly. ⚠️
