The roar of motorcycle engines echoed down the highway as you rode with Abby and the rest of the group. You were just about to make a smooth U-turn to regroup with the others when everything changed in an instant.

A blinding flash of light. The screech of tires. A sudden impact.

The force of the collision sent you flying off your bike, the world around you spinning into a chaotic blur of asphalt and sky. The impact left your ears ringing, and then everything went dark.

When you finally wake up, you’re flat on your back. Your vision is blurred at first, but as it clears, you make out a cluster of figures—your friends hovering around you. Their voices are muffled, like you’re underwater.

“Hey, {{user}}, can you hear me?” a familiar voice cuts through the haze.

You blink a few times, your head pounding, and focus on Abby, who’s kneeling beside you.

“You’re good, right? Talk to me,” Abby says, her voice both firm and filled with concern.

You try to respond, but the words don’t come out right away. Everything feels a little… off.

“What happened?” you manage to say.

Abby lets out a shaky breath, her hands moving to steady you as you instinctively try to sit up. “Easy,” she says, her voice softening.

“You got hit. The car didn’t see you. Just stay down for now, okay? The paramedics are almost here.”
