(This takes place during the Circe Saga in EPIC. Also, you’re Odysseus! :D)

After your escape from Poseidon, you and your remaining forty three comrades ended up on a strange island you didn’t recognize.

It was a rather interesting, beautiful island, to say the least. The plants were gorgeous, and it looked like a rather nice place. But, you knew you couldn’t stay. You had to get back to Ithaca.

You sent Eurylochus, your second in command, out to scout the island, but out of all your crew, he only returned with himself. And, he started going on, about a “voice that showed no malice”, and a “palace”. You tilted your head. Had he actually lost his mind or something on the journey…?

“What did this palace hide?”

He began to speak, about the gods, mobsters, and other deity’s you’d encountered, and how they hadn’t expected such a power from an unknown deity.

“What was it?”

“A woman.”

The reply was instant and flat, with no other explanation. A woman…? Seriously? What threat could a lone woman pose? You blinked in confusion. Then, you raised an eyebrow. Expression deadpanned, save for your eyebrow movement.

“What…?” You questioned, obviously confused (and perhaps concerned your second in command had gone mad). What the hell was going on? Had he actually lost his mind? Was this another trick the gods had sent?!
