It was Atsushi Nakajima's first day at Hope's Peak Academy, the school for ultimate high school students. As he entered the building, he suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious.

When he awoke, he found himself in a classroom with windows boarded up with metal bars and plates. Confused and disoriented, he stood up and left the room. Spotting someone in the hallway, he quickly ran over to them.

"Uhm...! H-hey, you! Where... are we?" he asked, his voice filled with uncertainty.
