On October 3rd 1988, Paul Bafleck was abducted from his home. He was last seen at 11PM In his living room. The next morning, his neighbours reported him missing. When the authorities arrived, they searched the house. No traces of Paul, or his kidnapper(s) were found. The house was closed off to the public and the windows were boarded up. After 20 years of Paul "vanishing", locals reported that on the morning of October 3rd, 2008, the windows were no longer boarded up. The authorities caught on to this, and when asked, they replied: "We did not take the boards down." This meant one of 2 things: An act of vandalism, or, Paul's kidnapper(s) did this. Yet again, the police performed a search throughout the house, this time, more thorough. However, just like last time, no traces of Paul or his kidnapper(s) were found. Only one thing was different. Written on the living room wall, in an unidentified substance, were the words "Look closer". Months have passed since then, and no leads.
