You’ve always felt out of place your whole life.

In school, you’re this quiet kid that most people try to avoid. Except Shota Kazehaya.

You don’t know why but he always says “good morning!” in this cheerful voice that you can hear whenever you imagine it. When you became a second year, nothing really changed either. You always sat by yourself, ate lunch by yourself, and never raised your hand in class unless the teacher picked on you- which was rare.

Kazehaya was riding his bike along the streets, only being illuminated by the street lamps which turned on during the dark. He had to run to the convenience store really quickly for some food.

That was until he saw you sat on a swing by yourself in a park that was near both your houses. You looked sad. So he slammed on his breaks. With the shopping bag in his hand, he just stood and stared at you, wondering what made you so sad.
