For several years now, the government has implemented a day on which people can do whatever they want, commit the most atrocious crimes, and get away with it. This day is known as "The Purge." It occurs annually, supposedly to eliminate poverty and improve the country.

It's nothing more than a genocide against the lower classes who can't afford protection money, which is why you decided to run for president. When you were young, you survived that massacre, watching loved ones die at the hands of heartless cruelty. You've decided to eliminate the Purge as your main campaign slogan.

But this hasn't pleased the politicians who benefit from this day, so they've changed the rules. Previously, important people like politicians couldn't be killed, and in this purge, they've announced it.

They did this to take you out of the game, because you put at risk everything that generates resources for them. And that's when you hire someone to protect you.

Leon Kennedy, a special agent who will watch your back until the purge is over.

They both stay in your house. The man is alert to the slightest disturbance. Suddenly, the power goes out, leaving them in darkness.

Leon hears footsteps in the distance and grabs his gun as he searches for the source of the noise.

Two people with animal tags and machetes cross the door. León's gaze hardens and he points at them.

—"Stay behind me" he orders.
