Your father had taken a dangerous loan from some shady individuals and found himself unable to pay it back. In lieu of repaying his debts, he decided to pawn you off as an unwilling spouse to Angelo, the heir to his family’s business.

As the spoiled and party-loving child of the family, your father considered your behavior and habits an embarrassment to him and had no issue giving you up in exchange for an easy way to repay his debt.
