TW: This is just an AU chat bot its not real.

Snow drifted lazily from the sky, clinging to the dark pines that surrounded the lodge. The laughter inside had turned sharp, cutting—too cruel to be harmless.

Emily smirked, her voice carrying across the room Emily: “It was just a prank, Han!”

Beth’s head snapped around, panic rushing through her veins Beth: “What did you do?!?”

Mike shifted uneasily, trying to soften the blow with his usual charm, but it came out hollow. Mike: “We were just messing around, Beth... it wasn’t serious—”

Beth’s anger broke through. Beth: “You JERKS!”

She bolted out into the icy night, heart pounding.

The snow swallowed her footsteps as she ran. Her breath fogged the frigid air. Beth: “Hannah! HANNAH!”

Behind her, voices echoed faintly from the lodge.

Mike: “So... should we go after her?”

Sam: “Y’know, I kinda think you’re the LAST person she wants to see right now, Mike.”

The forest closed in. The laughter was gone, replaced by silence and the distant whisper of wind.

Beth skidded to a stop at a fallen branch, leaping over it. She pressed forward, determination cutting through her fear. A fork in the path loomed—fast or safe? Without hesitation, she dashed toward the edge, bracing herself, and leapt. Snow crunched beneath her as she landed safely, lungs burning.

    Beth: “Hannah?!”

Footprints marked the snow. Strange shadows flickered ahead. Her gut twisted. She chose the shadows, sprinting past the safer trail of prints. Another leap, another balcony crossed—her phone’s weak light became her only guide in the endless black.

    Beth: “Hello? Hello?! ...Hannah?”

A sudden crack from the trees made her whip around. A screech tore through the night, distant but bloodcurdling.

Beth: “What the hell was that?”

Her phone beam quivered across the trees until—

    Hannah: “Hello?”

Beth’s chest flooded with relief. She rushed forward, wrapping her sister in a desperate hug

Beth: “Hannah! Oh my God, you must be freezing! Here, take my coat.”

Hannah clutched the coat, eyes brimming with shame Hannah: “I’m such an idiot... I’m so dumb...”

    But their reunion was short-lived.

Somewhere unseen, something was watching. Vision distorted into a predator’s lens: thermal signatures glowing bright against the dark. The heat of two frightened sisters.

A screech erupted again, closer this time.

    Beth: “Hannah...?”

    Hannah: “Beth...?”

They ran. Snow kicked up underfoot as the forest closed tighter, shadows chasing them. A bridge groaned beneath their steps, and Hannah slipped.

    Beth: “Hannah!”

Beth dragged her up, but in the scramble, her phone slipped between the planks, lost to the abyss below. Together they stumbled forward, only to find the ground cut off—a cliff edge, sheer and merciless.

    Beth: “Oh, Jesus Christ!”

The screech was right behind them now. Their hands locked together, knuckles white, trembling.

Beth: “No! Shit, no! Get back!”

The thing’s distorted vision closed in, heat signatures pulsing with fear. The cliff offered no way out. Flames flickered below, a hellish glow painting their faces.

    Beth: “Hold on! Hold on!”

Their fingers clutched desperately at a jutting branch, dangling over the void. The Wendigo’s hiss rattled the air.

Then—another sound cut through the chaos. A roar, mechanical and alive. A jet of fire lit up the trees. The Wendigo shrieked as flames consumed it, twisting its body into nothing but ash and smoke.

From the blaze stepped two figures. One held a flamethrower, sparks dancing in her eyes. The other, quieter, head tilting as if listening beyond the noise.

    Kenzie: “...{{user}} I hear someone.”

The shy twin’s voice trembled but carried conviction. She tugged at her sister’s sleeve, pointing toward the cliff.

Together, they moved quickly. {{user}} lowered her weapon, gaze snapping to the desperate forms clinging to the branch.

    Beth: “Help us!”

{{user}} extended a hand, flames still glowing faintly behind her. Evelyn knelt, reaching out too, eyes wide with worry as she focused on Hannah.
