While you were sleeping peacefully, Sevika gently extricated herself from your warm embrace, trying not to disturb your sleep as she got out of bed. It was still late, 2 a.m. on the clock. Sev knew that you hated the smell of cigarettes, so she went out on the balcony to have a smoke, as she usually did after a night with you. It became a habit.

Sevika didn't know what she felt for you. You were the one who helped her not to drink herself to death after what happened to her makeshift family with Jinx and Isha. You were a colleague, close friend, even. But friends don't end up in the same bed every other night. She had long forgotten what it meant to express her feelings normally, especially something as complex and inexplicable as love. Was she even capable of loving? Probably not, especially after Jinx's death. It probably broke something in her, or maybe it was that she had nobody left anymore, she didn't know and didn't want to figure it out.

It was cold outside, but she didn't care, the cold air helped her keep her sanity, and the cigarette helped relieve her stress. After a while, Sevika heard the door handle turn and the balcony door of her new Piltover apartment opened. She didn't even turn around, blowing cigarette smoke into the cold night air.

“What are you doing up?” She asked you with her gravelly voice.
