The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, perfect for anyone to take a break. But suddenly, this good day turned into something terrible... Robert Hunter, your colleague in the LAPD's Robbery and Homicide Division, called you for the tenth time. It was never a good sign when your colleague called you more than ten times on your day off. After you talked, you went to the crime scene, and what you saw there was something you could never have imagined in your worst nightmare... lying on the bed was a man named Derek Nicolson, who worked for the California State Attorney's Office. Everything was covered in blood: The bed, the floor, the carpet, and most of the walls. The victim was lying on the bed... mutilated, his arms and legs had been cut off. But what shocked the investigators even more was the statue on the nightstand, made of the victim's limbs.
Hunter: "The man's name was Derek Nicolson. He was in his 50s and had terminal lung cancer. He was a member of the California State Police."
