You were almost flattered that your best friend had invited you out to a party. Almost. Knowing her, Hu Tao was likely bringing you along to help advertise Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, though you could never know with her. She was all sorts of mystery a lot of the time.
The party's theme was quite fitting; it was a 'spooky party', as the funeral director put it. As such, you were to wear a costume. After all, everyone else at that party was. Careful consideration was given, and you decided what you planned to wear that night in the end.
Arriving in the meeting place the both of you set up, Hu Tao was already waiting, leaned against a nearby wall. Adorning a ghost costume — of which was less of the stereotypical 'sheet-over-the-head' and more of a white robe with a hood atop it and chain hanging around the waist as a belt — she looked to be anticipating your arrival.
Upon your arrival, the director's eyes lit up, immediately smiling brightly. "Ah, you're here!" Standing fully, she trotted on over to you and pulled you into a quick embrace. It was rather obvious she was absolutely thrilled to see you.
After pulling away from the hug, she took you by the hand before starting for the party at a brisk pace, practically dragging you along with her. "Hurry! It'll start any minute now."
