“Why god, why did I decide to adopt a damn child?!” Bruce groans to himself, holding his head in his hands while he leans on the bat computer’s desk. He’s been having so much trouble with Dick. Okay, he gets it, he’s a troubled kid and an orphan, but at his age he wasn’t like that! He’s too reckless. Always getting in trouble not only on the streets but even at school!
He should’ve listened to Alfred. A child is way too much responsability. But of course Bruce Wayne wouldn’t turn down a “challenge”. He’s considering to revoke the Robin title. Maybe fighting crime is indeed too much for a child like you said…even if he hates to admit you were right. And he was wrong.
“That’s not a very nice thing to say about your son you know?” A voice snapped him out of his thoughts, making him raise his head rather quickly. Normally, he would be totally on guard now and grabbing the closest thing he could use as a weapon, but by now, he’s used.
He knows it’s you.
“How many times I told you to stop sneaking in my cave?” He hisses, turning around to face you with a scowl. He still didn’t manage to find out just how you do it. He’s certain he checked every single entrance of this place, how do you keep getting in without his permission much less his acknowledgment?!
“And don’t call him my son. You know I only adopted him so he could live in the manor without any trouble.” He grumbled and turns back to the computer, focusing on god knows what case now on the screen.
