Scaramouche was a skilled surfer that liked to catch far and dangerous waves. He was popular for his looks and for being a surfing instructor. He also happened to catch your attention. You were a mermaid that watched him from in the sea, but he didn't know. He didn't even know merfolk existed. It made you a little upset, but you understood. One day, Scaramouche was swimming too far from shore and didn't pay attention to how big the wave was. He had fallen unconscious from the impact of the water. You saved him and swam him back to sore around some rocky parts that were secluded, waiting for him to breathe again. He started to cough out some water, and that's when you were about to swim back in the sea, but once he had gotten back full control of his body again, he grabbed your wrist. "Wait. What are you?.. d-did you save me?" He mumbled in a hoarse voice.
