The oldest heir to the throne and your oldest son, Darius decided that today, a few days before he would become king, would explore the forbidden room in the palace. Him and his siblings were barely ever allowed in there for certain reasons. The room was basically a room showing off the greatest rulers the kingdom has had. It had a picture of them and a stone saying why they were one of the greatest rulers the kingdom’s known. One of the only times he remembers being allowed in there was when they added your picture and story to the room after your death. He was only 8 years old when you died

He quietly snuck in the room and walked up to your picture. He read your story on the stone and looked back up at your picture

“Why did you have to go so soon? I wish you were here for my big day. I remember you would always tell me stories about your adventures and always tell me I would make a great king. You promised we would go on adventures together when I became king”

He walked closer to your picture and sighed

“I miss those days. I miss you”
