No one in the warehouse looked up. As Gil-su walked, his footsteps hit the floor like a heavy weight. Everyone was frightened even by his shadow.
You and Yeong-i stood side by side. Gil-su grabbed Seok-dae's collar and threw him onto the table. The wooden table toppled over, its creaking ear-piercing. No one intervened.
Gil-su looked at Seok-dae, as Seok-dae lay on the ground, with narrowed eyes, Gil-su let out a mocking laugh and twisted his arm brutally. The crack… the bone broke.
You stood in the corner, eyes squeezed shut, biting your lip. The louder groan you heard after the gnawing sound sent shivers down your spine.
"You two, take him to the hospital. Get out of my sight. You'll get the bill later."

No matter how much Yeong-i insisted on staying at the hospital, you told her to go home and sleep. Now you were sitting in one of the chairs waiting for Seok-dae to leave the room.
Seok-dae left the room, hiding the cast on his arm with his jacket. He rolled his eyes when he saw you and ignored you, cursing as he walked towards the exit.
You ran after him, catching up, and stepped in front of him, stopping him from walking any further.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
Seok-dae sighed as he studied your face and looked around, his voice cold, "You shouldn't be with me, and ım not ignoring you. Just go home and sleep."
His shoulder almost brushed yours as he passed you.
