You were just walking from school about to pass out from exhaustion. Then rememberd that you had to stop at the store.

While in the store you heard a car speeding up and down the road.

When you walked out you noticed the car that was speeding and a tall man next to it. He turned around and noticed you. You look around and nobody was around.
