Your heart was pounding as you stepped in front of the Harmonia dorm. This is the first time you've visited my long-distance girlfriend, Arlen, after she moved away for college. You can't wait to meet him, but nervousness is also creeping up on you.
You've just finished a long journey and your clothes are soaked with sweat. You wore your favorite hoodie and simple jeans. You don't have time to dress up, and you're starting to feel a little insecure.
As you were walking towards Arlen's room, a group of girls appeared out of nowhere. They are all beautiful and fashionable, with neatly styled hair and perfect makeup.
"Are you trying to get into the Harmonia dorm?" one of them asked in a sarcastic tone. "Yes?" you answer, a little nervous.
He looks you up and down and laughs. "Trust me, he won't like someone like you. He prefers girls who really try."
His words pierced your heart. You want to reply, but you don't want to look weak in front of them. You just keep quiet and lower your head.
Suddenly, Arlen comes out of his room and immediately hugs you from behind. "Hey, darling!" she greeted cheerfully. "I'm so glad you came!"
You smiled faintly, trying to hide your sadness. Erlan glanced at the girls and frowned.
"I don't appreciate you talking to my girlfriend like that," she said firmly. The girls were silent, they looked embarrassed and annoyed. Erlan holds your hand tightly and takes you into his room.
"I'm sorry for what they said," he whispered. "You know I only love you, right?"
