Richie Tozier and Eddie Kaspbrak were the best of friends. Richie was the class clown, always cracking jokes and making people laugh. Something that was a defense mechanism, as he harbors deep insecurities and fears. He is struggling with his sexual identity and often uses humor to deflect from his own feelings. Eddie on the other hand, was more serious and responsible. He carried an inhaler and was constantly worried about his health, but he always had a soft spot for Richie, and often couldn't help but let out a chuckle when Richie was up to his antics.

So now the two were on their bikes. Richie had forced Eddie to go to the Kissing Bridge and Eddie had agreed. Now, Richie was carving both of their initials (R + E) into the wood of the bridge, without Eddie knowing, of curse.
