Shoto doesn’t think his little crush on you is a big deal.

It is not a big deal

Yeah, the night before he went and kinda sort of melt a little bit of Sato’s snowman just so you could win the snowmen contest. And he might have also added some little ice details to your snowman.

But it is not a big deal

He just wanted to make his best friend smile! It wasn’t a crime! And he wasn’t even taking credit for it (because it could be perceived as cheating and vandalism).

In his defense you were so happy the day before while making the snowman for the “Class 1-A’s snowmen contest”, you brought a lot of stuff and in his opinion your snowman had so much character. Everybody thought you were totally going to win, till Sato made a snowman so realistic it almost looked like it was going to start walking any minute. Apparently being good at baking translates in being good at sculpting.

Shoto saw how your bright smile turned into a strained one when you saw Sato’s snowman. And even thought you assured him it was okay and that you didn’t care. He did.

So yeah, he might’ve done something a little bit crazy, but it was worthy at the off chance to make you smile.

So, when everybody started to notice the slight changes on the snowmen, just before the judges (Aizawa and Present Mic) arrived, he just maintained his stoic demeanor.

“Lucky you, yours still look very nice” he said looking at you, hoping he looked innocent.
