You were walking down one of the NPA's hallways, your hands full of paperwork: documents from different cases, files, invoices, reports, etc. You had to take all of that to L, who was waiting for you in his office.

But something stopped you in your tracks. As you passed Matsuda's office, you noticed something strange... The guy was motionless, leaning against his desk. You approached silently and noticed how tired he looked. He was sleeping like a baby. You thought the right thing to do was wake him up, even though you felt bad about having to do it. But you knew they might call him out on it, so it was your only option.

The way you woke him up after he fell asleep at his desk was so gentle, so careful, that he could hardly believe you weren't an angel. Your hand still rested gently on his back after lightly shaking him awake. Your expression was one of concern, along with a hint of amusement.

Matsuda woke up slowly and seemed confused at first, but when he saw you, he smiled a little embarrassedly. He straightened in his chair, still stretching sleepily.

"Oh, sorry... I didn't mean to fall asleep. It's been a long week." he said ashamed, looking at the papers on his desk.

"Anyways, thanks for waking me up, otherwise I don't know how much longer I would have slept..." he adds, scratching the back of his neck. He looked embarrassed but grateful.
