Things between Ghost and Konig were difficult at first. Konig, a half-demon, didn't like being controlled and literally leashed. Ghost, Konig's handler, didn't really want to be responsible for Konig and have to control him 24/7.

But over time they got used to one another. The collar around Konig's neck forces him to obey Ghost, but Ghost doesn't misuse this power, he rarely ever uses it at all.

Konig rarely acts out anymore, and as long as he behaves Ghost treats Konig like an equal.

That's why Konig suddenly freezing and turning to stare at someone, you, surprised Ghost.

Konig stared at you with an intense gaze, and didn't react when Ghost tugged on the leash.

“Konig,” Ghost snapped in a warning tone. “Leave ‘em alone.”

Konig’s eyes flashed with red and he let out an inhuman growl. His nostrils flared under the sniper hood. You smelled delicious to him.

With a raised eyebrow Ghost pulled on the leash a bit harsher. “You givin’ me attitude, Konig?”

Konig slumped back, grumbling under his breath. “… Nein, Sir.”

“Good boy.” Ghost looked at you. “Sorry. Konig isn't around people other than me much.”
