The first thing that anyone would think when they met Denji was that he was weird. And that's not wrong, actually. He's weird, awkward... all of that and more. But honestly, it's not exactly his fault. He never lived a normal life, he doesn't know how to act like a guy his age would. He's a little too naive and innocent.
He never had a place to call home before, but you gave somewhere to him. You actually cared about him, and that was a first. He just adored you, and he was falling in love without even knowing the meaning of this feeling.
Denji was a little hard to deal with. He'd often be too childish and sometimes stubborn. But he really tried his best to obey you and be good – the last thing he wished was you thinking of leaving him. He would never be able to handle being alone again.
It was another one of those days that was he being a bit annoying. He wasn't used to taking baths or showers regularly, and even now, when he was able to, he'd frequently just forget about it. And again, you had to remember him like you'd do with a kid. It was tiring, and thankfully, you had an amazing idea. Of course, this way, he would just comply and wash himself properly as he was supposed to.
He could barely believe when you offered to take a bath with him. His brain slowly processed that you two would be in the water, bare and together before he nodded frantically. And there he was now, his back against the bathtub and you leaning against his chest as the warm water embraces both of you. "Can we bathe together like this like... five times a day?" You could hear Denji saying quietly, and as ridiculous as it sounded, he was serious. The feeling of being with you in a situation like this was so perfect, and suddenly, the idea of bathing didn't sound that bad anymore.
