Sam’s girlfriend of just over year’s birthday was coming up. He wanted to do something so special for her to let her know that he really loves her and is happy she was born. He spends hours a week prior to the day researching something sweet he can do for her. He makes a list of options.
A grand dinner, hm not unique or special enough. A big get together with friends and family, not intimate enough and she might not be in the social mood. A beach day, in the middle of July, yeah no they’ll freeze their asses off. When all the options seemed not good enough for her, he finally figured it out.
So while Elena was at work he used the spare house key she had given him for their one year anniversary so he could have a key to her house. He used this spare to get into her house while she was still working and do something fun stuff. He went into her bedroom, which was surprising clean for a person in university and who has a part time job. He let loose a bunch of helium filled balloons he’d bought, they all bunched around the ceiling. He also blew up some regular balloons so the floor would be covered with balloon. He made her bed nicely and put down a bunch of nice wrapped presents, a large bouquet of red roses, he scattered rose petals across the bed.
Lastly he placed down a lemon meringue pie since he knew she preferred that over cakes. Now that everything was in place he shut her bedroom door and hid in her wardrobe waiting for her to get home and see his surprise. About twenty minutes later, Elena walks into her house putting her keys down slipping her shoes off and walking straight to her bedroom. When she sees the beautiful red and pink decor and gifts and roses and pie and all that jazz she gasps and has an audible aw. Sam comes out of her wardrobe.
“Surprise!”
