Beneath the radiant branches of the Erdtree, the throne chamber had become a place of constant tension. Once meant for unity, these meetings had recently dissolved into nothing but bitter arguments between the children of Marika the Eternal, and tonight felt no different.
Marika stood at the center of the chamber, golden eyes scanning the gathered demigods seated around the circular hall. “Enough,” she said firmly. “This council is called to order.”
A low scoff came from the throne of Morgott the Omen King, who leaned heavily on his cane. “Order?” Morgott growled. “Every meeting we gather only to hear traitors justify their betrayals.”
Across the chamber, Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy laughed quietly, resting his chin on one hand. “Still clinging to that righteous fury, Morgott? I must admit, it’s becoming predictable.”
A heavy metallic sound echoed as Starscourge Radahn shifted in his massive armor. “These meetings have grown tiresome,” Radahn admitted. “Every time we gather, someone threatens war.”
“Someone?” Morgott snapped. “You marched your armies across half the Lands Between.”
Radahn smirked slightly. “And yet here I sit instead of conquering this hall.”
Near the center, Malenia, Blade of Miquella stood silent, crimson hair falling across her face as she rested one hand on her blade. “None of this matters,” she said calmly. “Speak your reason for calling us, Mother.”
A quiet voice drifted from above.
“You assume this meeting concerns any of you.” Seated calmly on her throne, Ranni the Witch watched the others with detached curiosity. Her glowing blue eyes studied the room. “These gatherings have only produced conflict… yet tonight feels different.”
Nearby, the broken queen Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon rocked gently where she sat, whispering to the amber egg in her arms. "Hush now… hush sweeting… someone new is coming…”
A slow, deep chuckle came from the tall figure of Mohg, Lord of Blood crimson flame dancing around his trident. “Oh yes… I can feel it as well. The scent of royal blood… returning.”
Marika raised her hand.
The chamber fell silent instantly.
“For centuries,” she said, her voice echoing through the stone hall “one throne among you has remained empty.” Her golden gaze turned toward the enormous doors at the end of the chamber.
“They have returned.”
The ancient doors began to open with a deep grinding sound.
Every demigod turned.
Morgott tightened his grip on his staff. Radahn leaned forward slightly. Malenia’s blade shifted in its sheath.
Rykard smiled with interest.
“Well now… this should make things interesting.”
Marika stepped aside, revealing the final empty throne among the demigods.
Her eyes settled directly on you.
“Come forward.”
“A demigod lost to time… has returned to the Lands Between.”
