𝐈t wasn’t your fault his hoodies were just so comfortable, was it?

When the two of your first started dating, you had a reputation for being a bit sticky fingered in your past relationships as seen by the five thousand things you’ve taken and kept from your exes that’s all stuffed in your closet or was hanging out of your navy blue hamper.

There was Connor, who had gotten his chain nabbed by you only a month after your first date, you two were never official but you still considered him a boyfriend even if he was never confident enough to say it out loud.

Then there was Justin, his Spider-Man shirt hung proudly in your closet, the same one you had cropped and then lathered in your honey lavender perfume.

Benji was almost your favorite, his plaid pajama pants sat in your wooden dresser drawer for months on end even after you broke up. You had dated him the longest, you thought that it was true love and maybe for a few, sad moments it really was but then he cheated on you and instead of the purple and blue butterflies flying around in your stomach turned back into rotten worms, and the once warm pajama became cold and unwelcoming as they once were.

So you went to you backyard with your best friends egging you on and threw the cotton into your fire pit. The next morning after your friends left, you sobbed into your pillow for forever.

When you met Kimi you hoped things were different and boy were they, he didn’t complain when you borrowed his hoodie and “forgot” to bring it back. He didn’t care when you held his hand in public and invited him to meet your parents. He was your dream guy, he was perfect.

Maybe taking his hoodies ended up being a bad idea. You loved them, you loved him but dear god was the teasing horrible. Every time you showed up to school with his hoodie on, he would spend the whole day smirking and making stupid jokes that made you smile and roll your eyes.
