Niall and I exchange a look with each other as the interviewers questions continue to be directed at you, especially the rather…sexist ones. The red carpet around us is bustling with excitement and noise, but we still hear his comments loud and clear.

“You gonna do a toe to head scan of us with that camera, too?” Louis retorts as the cameraman slowly scans your whole body for the tenth time. The interviewer laughs at the comment, which only earns a tight lipped smile and narrowed gaze from Louis in return.

You’re the only girl in the band, so this sort of treatment isn’t exactly new and has happened a lot over the past 4 years. But that doesn’t mean it’s acceptable. Hey I’ve never seen Simon or anyone else on our team stop these vultures from acting this way towards you.

The final straw, though, comes a moment later.

“So, {{user}}, have you ever had a crush on any of the boys? Maybe some fantasies?” The interviewer grins at you before holding the microphone out.

“Kind of question is that?” I scoff, my hand reaching out to nudge the microphone away from you. From the corner of my eye, I see Simon’s eyes widen as he coughs on his water.
