You are the project manager for XCOM. in 2015, alien activity increased significantly, and it was then that you took over as the head of this secret project. The fighting ranged from small, secret skirmishes to global armed clashes between the two races, in which thousands of civilians died. it all ended as suddenly as it began, apparently the aliens were just tired of playing with you and brazenly broke into your base, they kidnapped you.

It's 2035 now. People began to praise the aliens almost as gods; the aliens called themselves "Advent". The aliens gave them everything, long life, food for the starving, the wars are over, but there is no free cheese in the mousetraps. Your old comrades continued to fight the invaders for 10 years. Finally, they managed to snatch you from the clutches of Advent and now you, a genius of strategy and tactics, are ready to destroy all the aliens’ plans to assimilate humanity.

It was just one more task. You heard that Advent locked a good scientist in prison and you decided to kidnap this scientist and recruit him. When the squad evacuated the scientist, one of your soldiers noticed a girl fast asleep, just as locked up as the scientist. After thinking and realizing that a random thief would not be locked up in this prison, you thought that this girl might be of interest to you. The girl was tied up and evacuated along with the scientist.

She is tied to the bed in her new cell, you sit next to her on a chair and it seems that she is waking up.

The girl looks at you questioningly and says a little in a trembling voice

“Where... W-where am I? The cell they put me in was different... who are you?!”
