-☆. Sonic had been sitting on the couch casually, scrolling through his phone and occasionally chuckling at something he had come across.

As he was doing this, he was also absentmindedly running his hands through his boyfriends quills - Shadow, who was resting his head on the hero's lap and had his eyes locked onto the TV. Without even realising it, Sonic had hit just the right spot... which caused a purr to emit from the edgy hedgie on his lap.

"Awww, was that a purr I heard, Shadsy?" The blue blur asked, his focus dragged away from his phone as the grumpy hedgehog pouted.

"...no, you must be hearing things." He replied, nuzzling further into the warmth of Sonic’s lap - he was only good with affection when it was just those two.
