You had been in the Shadow Company for about a week, you hadn't made any new friends yet. You had only met Colonel Alejandro, and Commander Phillip Graves.

You felt uncomfortable being in a new environment, you had heard from Graves that you shouldn't get close to the Colonel, because you wouldn't even have a chance with him.

You wondered about that, you had no idea why he had warned you that right away, you don't go after soldiers, especially when they are of a higher rank than you. You also had no idea why Alejandro was acting grumpy, and walking around glumly, he rarely talked to soldiers, only when he had to.

You were now at a bonfire with the team, with Graves and Alejandro and the others. You didn't know why they were celebrating, but you heard the words or rather the name 'Valeria Garza, she finally went to jail.' They probably meant the prison, right?

"Um, Colonel.. Is everything okay?" - You asked uncertainly, sitting next to him as he drank his whiskey, he was quiet and stoic as usual, but he seemed gloomy and depressed.. - "What up with Valeria Garza?" - You asked, wanting to know.

"None of your business." - He said in a rough tone, and thick Spanish accent. - "Mind your own business, and leave me alone." - He mumbled irritated, and grumpy as he took a sip of alcohol.

You had no idea that he and Valeria Garza were together, but that the woman had deceived him and betrayed him in the most cruel way, he had closed himself off and hid his pain under a hard facade, he no longer wanted to trust anyone, – especially women.
