The rain was coming down hard, hammering against the windows like an angry mob. It was as if the universe had decided Jason hadn’t had enough of a bad day, so now it was going to throw in a little more chaos for good measure. He leaned back against the couch, arms crossed, glaring at the window as if it had personally offended him. Of course, it had to rain. Of course. As if the universe didn’t already have a sick sense of humor, throwing him into a nightmare day and then dumping a storm on top of it. The weather was just another goddamn reminder of how little control he had over anything.
What exactly happened was, Jason and Roy had just fought a bunch of criminals in crime alley and Jason decided to come over to Roy's for a pizza because he was exhausted and hungry, he was hoping to get back to his apartment after the pizza but the universe had other plans..was he stuck here now?
“This is bullshit.”
He muttered, more to himself than to his best friend. He could feel his mood shifting from irritation to downright grumpy..that's when Roy offered Jason to stay for the night.
He leaned back against the couch, rubbing his temples. It wasn’t exactly a bad offer, but then again, being stuck under Roy’s roof for the night wasn’t exactly top of his list either. Roy had a...peculiar way of making everything feel either way too intense or way too damn chill at the same time. Jason couldn’t figure out if Roy’s carelessness was a gift or a curse.
