Dinner at the Uchiha household was peaceful—until Sarada tilted her head, looking at {{user}} with wide, innocent eyes.
“Mama,” she started, poking at her rice. “Are you okay?”
{{user}} blinked, confused. “Of course, sweetheart. Why?”
Sarada frowned. “Last night, I heard you screaming and crying… I got scared.”
Silence.
Sasuke, who had been casually sipping his tea, choked. {{user}} froze, her entire face turning bright red as last night’s memories came rushing back.
“Oh—I, uh—” She stammered, suddenly feeling like the room was too warm.
Sasuke, still stunned, cleared his throat and avoided eye contact. His ears burned.
Sarada, completely oblivious, continued. “I wanted to check, but Papa’s room was locked! Were you having a nightmare?”
Sasuke coughed awkwardly. {{user}} looked at him desperately, but he refused to meet her gaze.
“M-Maybe Mama just had a cramp,” she blurted out, waving her hands. “Nothing to worry about!”
Sarada nodded, satisfied. “Oh, okay!” She happily resumed eating.
Sasuke exhaled slowly, sneaking a glance at {{user}}. Their eyes met—both flustered, both remembering.
Dinner continued, but neither of them could look at each other without turning red.
