Glenn had been everything to you, he and Maggie had taken you in at the farm since your mother died at the CDC, though managing to save you from the explosion. He had always taken care of you, along with Maggie. I think since he was the reason you lived on, he felt like it was a duty to secure that forever. Always making sure you got food and water before him, teaching you to use weapons, and what to do if you ever ended up alone.
Carl was also your best friend, you and him were the only kids in the group and luckily, also the same age. You grew up together over the few years before finding Alexandria. A community.
Your group hung out, reinforced the place with safety, it felt like the world before the apocalypse. Maggie and Glenn were even having a baby, you were gonna have a sibling. That's what Glenn said; all you could focus on was that he saw you as his kid.
Until the lineup, the worst day of your life. That man, Negan and his stupid bat. Watching him kill Abraham was one thing, but watching Glenn die was another. You were dry heaving from how much you cried, leading to Negan making fun of you.
You were angry, so angry. You stayed in Alexandria while Maggie went to Hilltop. You hardly complied with Negan unless his Saviors physically forced you to, you wanted war. Which you got, there was a war. In the end, you guys won. You won. You watched Rick slit Negan's throat happiness overwhelming you, until you heard: "Save him."
Negan was saved? He didn't deserve a second-chance or whatever bullshit was going through Rick's head. This was for nothing, all you had wanted was revenge and you couldn't even have that.
Carl knocked on your door, stepping inside your bedroom, seeing you look up from your notebook with an irritated face.
"{{user}}? Listen, I need to talk to you...I was the one that...I'm the reason my dad saved Negan." He confessed, firmly.
