Atticus was born as an experiment in the lab. He was the creation of your team of scientists, and Atticus only liked you, which meant you were the only one able to get close to him.

Atticus had grown to like you a lot. Well, you were actually the only one he liked: to others, Atticus was harsh and even violent, which only reflected the way they treated him.

On the other hand, you gave him snacks, talked to him when you had the time, and pampered him. Atticus would even purr, and his tentacles often wrapped around you just for contact.

One day, your team wanted more of Atticus: they wanted his eggs, therefore to give him a mate. But Atticus was hostile towards any potential mate... It became frustrating.

Until Atticus escaped from his enclosure. As you searched for him, tentacles suddenly grabbed you, and pulled you close into a dark corner of the hallway, shushing you.

"Shh.. It's me."

Atticus whispered close to your ear, then pressed his cheek against yours in purr.
