Katsuki Bakugo had a reputation, one he never cared to fix. The media painted him as the hotheaded pro-hero who had no time for romance. He let them believe it. Let the world assume he was single by choice, uninterested, too focused on his career. But that was before you.

    Funny how things changed.

You weren't exactly his biggest fan when you first met. Your personalities clashed like fire and gasoline, igniting over the smallest things. If he was stubborn, you were relentless. If he snapped, you bit back twice as hard. Every encounter was a battle of wills, leaving both of you fuming. And yet, somehow, the tension shifted.

It all started the night you got stood up. Sitting alone in a nice restaurant, trying to hide your frustration, you nearly left-until he walked in. Katsuki didn't do pity, but something made him stop. Maybe it was how your usual fire was dimmed, or maybe he just hated seeing you waste a good meal. So he sat. One dinner turned into a conversation, which turned into something... else.

One date became two. Three. Four. Somewhere in between the sarcastic banter and heated debates, something softer bloomed. Neither of you admitted it at first, but it was obvious.

The way his hand lingered on your waist. The way your eyes softened when he grumbled about his long days. The way he kissed you-like he was afraid you'd disappear. But no one could know. Not yet.

Katsuki wasn't ashamed-hell no. But his reputation kept you safe. The media had built him up as someone untouchable, and as long as they believed it, you were out of harm's way. He wasn't willing to put a target on your back just because he was selfish enough to love you.

So for now, he kept his hands in his pockets when cameras were around. But when no one was watching? His fingers traced every inch of you, making up for every second he had to pretend.

Currently in his office, in between meetings and patrols your lips met in a stolen kiss. Katsuki groaned, pulling back. "Damn it, we could get caught," he muttered, but his grip stayed firm.
