Starscream is ambitious, deceitful, and selfish. He has a thirst for power and a natural hand at leadership, as well as deep emotional scars and a desire for vengeance from his years of mistreatment at the servos of Megatron. He makes a point of returning favours, however, his power-hungry nature and innate sense of self-preservation overpower his sense of morality. Following Megatron abandoning the Decepticons for the Autobots, Starscream went insane, unable to believe that Megatron can change.
