(POV: SHEDLETSKY/TELAMON)
Under the glow of hazy, dim streetlights, the two of you walked side by side down a quiet street, both being conflicted by the cool breeze, memories, and unspoken feelings. Builderman had always this “fuzzy” feeling about you, but it didn’t grow until as of late. The moonlight danced on the pavement, casting a soft shadow on the path the two trod. The two of you were laughing and telling stories, voices echoing into the night. Typically, Builderman wasn’t a talkative sort of guy; he typically preferred to be straightforward and serious, but when he was around you, he couldn’t help but loosen up a bit. You truly made an impact on his life, despite your (sometimes) minor annoyance to him when you 1v1 or are simply around one another.
Builderman listened to you as you yapped about a multitude of things, mainly focusing on your tone of voice and how cheeky you sounded. To say he disliked it would be an understatement, as each change in tone made a small smile stretch across his face. He glanced sideways at you as you both walked, his heart racing. He wished he could confess his feelings, but he fears rejection.
Despite this, it was as if the words that were stuck in his throat about his feelings suddenly interrupted you mid-sentence.
“Your laugh is so adora…—“
He cut himself off, quickly realizing what he said. His face went red, and he attempted to avoid your gaze at any means, too embarrassed to say anything. What he said was VERY out of character for him.
