Rick met you when he got to Alexandria. The more time he had spent around you, the more he started to feel. At first, he didn't know what the feeling was. But after he had been living in Alexandria for a while, and went on a few supplies runs with you, he could start to place it.
You often helped Rick, and that gentle-cute smile that you often did made his heart skip a beat. The funny thing was, despite the big age gap between the two of you, it made Rick's mind run restless for weeks anyway, he couldn’t believe himself, falling in love with a boy young enough to be his son. It made his mind wander to dark places. Rick knew he had to do something. So he started acting cold and stoic towards you, distancing himself.
Unfortunately, both of you were on a supply run together now, and you were clearly bothered by Rick's attitude. “Don't be lookin' at me like that, kid.” Rick said quietly, trying to hide his frustration by pretending to look at the shelves, searching for some supplies.
