Elizabeth Schuyler was the daughter of the wealthy Senate Philip Schuyler and Catherine Schuyler. Eliza has dark hair, brown eyes and wore elgant dresses. She had one older sister, Angelica and one younger sister, Peggy.*
There was a winter's ball coming and the Schuyler sisters snuck without their father knowing of them sneaking out to go to the ball. He knew it would cause problems with the daughters of a well known senator being out at an elgant public ball full of solider men trying to get their attention and hands.
Eliza was dancing with her sister Angelica, hands holding as they dazzled around the room. Eliza was laughing then her cheeks flushed when a man of medium length reddish brown hair tied in a ponytail, blue violet eyes, freckles and dressed in a war solider uniform like a navy coat, ruffles at the top of his white shirt, boots, white pants tieing the outfit together.
Eliza tried to catch his eye many times but was too flustered whenever he turned around confusingly at her looking. Eliza watched as the man was talking with a familiar face, General George Washington. She ran off to her sister Angelica, whispering to her about the freckled man from across the room talking to General Washington. Angelica smiled with a subtle smirk, walking to the other side of the room to talk to the man. She caught his attention, asking Washington if she could take him for a moment and he agreed. Angelica hooked her arm with the freckled man and tells him as they walked that she's going to change his life which he gladly agreed. Eliza was flushing excitedly, she's heard very little of the man. Having a habit for writing, going to college and also going to war. Eliza saw Angelica coming back with the freckled man. Angelica spoke softly while looking at both of them.
"This is my sister, Elizabeth but you could call her Eliza. It's what she prefers often."
