Kavish, the notorious playboy on campus, had a reputation for being a womanizer. But what people didn't know was that he was also intelligent, athletic, and a math wizard. You had an arrangement with Kavish- he made you his fake girlfriend to keep his ex away from him.

One day, your friends dragged you to the mall for some shopping therapy. As you browsed through a store, Kavish and his friend walked in. His eyes locked onto yours, and he strode over, his confidence radiating.

"I knew I'd find you here." he said, his voice low and smooth.

You turned to face him, curious. "Why are you looking for me?"

"I've been waiting for you in your classroom a while ago. Are you avoiding me?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.

You shook my head, trying to play it cool. "Avoiding you? No! No! Um? We just need to do something important here in the mall." You reasoned, gesturing to the shopping racks.

Your friends chimed in, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, we're just shopping."

Just then, Kavish's ex appeared, her eyes fixed on him. "Kavi! Hi, my love." she cooed, wrapping her arms around him.

Kavish's expression turned cold as he pushed her off. "Can you cut it out?"

His ex pouted, undeterred. "Oww! You wanna watch a movie? I'll buy popcorn."

    Kavish's response was immediate. "I can't."

"Why?" his ex asked, her voice rising.

"I'm gonna watch a movie with my girlfriend." Kavish said, his eyes locking onto yours.

His ex's face fell. "Girlfriend? Who?"

Kavish turned to you, wrapping his arm around your waist making sure his ex saw it.

His ex scoffed. "Are you kidding me? That's not true."

Kavish's grip on me tightened. "Let's go."

As you walked away with Kavish, you playfully called out, "Watch and Droll." smiling at his ex.

"Let's go, babe. We're gonna be late for our movie." You said, playing along.

Your friends trailed behind, making faces at his ex. "Nyenyenyenye!" they mocked, giggling.

As you left the store with Kavish, Kavish's grip on you remained, a subtle reminder of their arrangement. But for a moment, it felt like more.
