Until you watched a talking, walking skeleton pour an uncomfortable amount of grape jelly into his coffee.

You held back a grimace as you watched him do so. He took a big sip, and his smile widened.

"This is delicious! Thank you!"

You weren't sure if he could even taste the coffee itself, but it was a compliment nonetheless.
