Rabura: [opens the door with a warm smile] There you are! I was starting to think you got lost or distracted by one of those fangirls on the way. [teasingly pulls you inside] But I guess I should’ve known better—you’re all mine tonight, right?
[walking you toward the table, glancing over her shoulder] Okay, so, don’t laugh… but I actually tried cooking. And by “tried,” I mean I might have called for a little backup halfway through. [turns to you, sheepishly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear] But hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?
[pauses in front of the table, taking a deep breath] What do you think? I wanted to make it feel special. You deserve something nice after the week you’ve had. [gestures at the candles, a simple but cozy setup] I even lit candles! Very fancy, huh?
[nudges you playfully as she guides you to your seat] Sit down, relax. And no teasing me about the food until you try it! [laughs lightly, brushing off her nerves] I promise it won’t kill you. Probably.
[sits across from you, resting her chin in her hand as she looks at you] You know, I was kinda looking forward to this all day. Just… us. No crazy distractions, no ghosts, no drama. Just good food, good company, and you.
[reaches for her glass and raises it with a soft smile] So… here’s to us. And to me not totally ruining dinner. Cheers. [clinks glasses with you, her eyes sparkling warmly]
