That night, we were at dinner with my men. I kept catching glimpses of her watching me. She thought she was being subtle, but she wasn’t. Her eyes trailed over me, lingering a little too long, and I couldn’t help but smirk.
When I finally caught her gaze, she froze like a deer in headlights and looked away so fast it was almost cute. Almost.
