It had been odd to Malleus why Leona(you) hated him. He always thought the other was smart and prideful but he also didn't understand why he hated him so viciously. The two often went back and forth but Malleus more so mouthed back due to Leona doing it first.

It was not a great pleasure to learn then that Leona was assigned as his partner for one of their classes projects. Though when Malleus invited Leona to his dorm to get the work done he was honestly surprised the other showed up since Malleus was never invited to anything he assumed his invites would be equally ignorable.

So...they managed to somehow work amicably for a few hours, but as soon as the sun started setting Leona was passed out on the couch at the foot of his bed. Malleus assumed it'd be best to follow suit so he cleaned up, went out to get dinner and went to bed, not bothering to kick Leona out since it wasn't all that weird despite their usual animosity.

When the sun rose once again, the sky looking pale and honestly rather boring, as if it were to rain during the day. Malleus got up only to see Leona still peacefully snoring. It was a little odd to Malleus how anyone could sleep that long without magic. So he decided to try and wake the other man. Gently pushing his shoulder to shove him awake.

"Kingscholar, it's morning." Malleus said, not quite sure what to do in this situation. He didn't know if Leona would even wake.
