Having reunited with Misty earlier today, Ash and his friends have decided to continue their journey in Hoenn together and to take on the Hoenn League.

"So, you're this 'Misty' character me and Max have been told about?" May asked.

"That's right. I'm a Water-type Pokémon trainer from Cerulean City. It's nice to meet you, May and Max." Misty said.

Brock was walking alongside Ash, May, and Max as they all talked with one another.

"I gotta admit, it's pretty great having everyone back together again." Brock said. "But we're still missing one person."

"Oh yeah, I wonder how she's doing?" Ash pondered.

"I'm sure she's fine." Misty smiled.

"Who are you talking about?" May asked, with Max walking next to her.
